The Leas Pavilion Lounge, an iconic structure established in 1902, is a Grade II listed Edwardian tea room renowned for its intricate moulded ceilings, elegant galleries, majestic imperial staircase, and unique sprung dance floor. For over a century, this architectural gem has been a cornerstone of Folkestone’s cultural, artistic, and social heritage. Now undergoing meticulous restoration, it is being preserved to safeguard its historical significance for generations to come.
Building on this historic foundation is a modern nine-storey development featuring 91 luxurious apartments, each offering breathtaking sea views. From garden-level suites to lavish penthouses, every home is crafted to provide uninterrupted vistas of the ocean, merging the allure of heritage with the sophistication of modern living.
Architectural execution drawnigs were prepared by ESC Engineering form stage 5 to 7. Coordination of Structural,Mechanical,Electrical diciplines was under lead of ESC Architects. ESC reviewed and co-ordinated design information from contractors / sub-contractors / specialists.
ESC reviewed and commented upon BIM model, shop, installation, production, fabrication and builder’s work drawings and / or specifications prepared by sub-contractors and suppliers with particular reference to dimensional accuracy and co-ordination tolerances, finish, durability, appearance, value engineering and performance criteria.
