In the control center Weg & Waterhuis de Langebalk, the central operation of bridges and locks in North Holland was officially started on 14 December 2018. 

In the coming years, the province will not only operate remotely from a control center, but also intends to do this 24 hours a day in due course. This should lead to a better flow for both shipping and traffic on the road. With the central operation of bridges and locks, the province stimulates (freight) transport by water, which will reduce the burden on roads and the environment. Not only does the flow of road traffic improve, ships also have the convenience of better sailing times and can continue smooth. We supported project with creating PLC and SCADA system panel diagrams for operation of bridges at North Holland.
